What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a hands-on, non-invasive approach to health care that focuses on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders arising from the muscles, nerves, and joints of the spine and extremities. Chiropractors use a combination of treatment methods to suit the needs of each individual patient. A chiropractic treatment plan may consist of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissues techniques, modalities, acupuncture and rehabilitative exercises. It is our goal to determine your cause of pain (not just the symptoms), reduce pain, restore proper function and biomechanics, and prevent the recurrence of pain.
What is contemporary medical acupuncture?
Contemporary medical acupuncture is a technique focused around modulating abnormal activity of both the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into particular sites around the body, which has an effect on various nerves, muscles, and blood vessels. These needles can then be stimulated manually or with electricity to help alleviate pain.
What is Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT)?
Myofascial Release is a form of soft tissue therapy that focuses on problems arising in muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Overuse conditions and muscle imbalances can contribute to the formation of adhesions and scar tissue within the muscles and fascia, leading to a reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain.

What is prenatal care?
Prenatal care is of special interest to Dr. Mallory Kohlmeier, who has received additional accreditation in Webster Technique. This technique is used during the prenatal period and aims to reduce some of the symptoms arising from the muscular, ligamentous and biomechanical stresses experienced during pregnancy.
The feet and ankle joint are the foundation of the body. Their function is essential in supporting the body while standing, walking, and running. Faulty biomechanics beginning in the feet can lead to injury or impairment, and may become a significant contribution to pain/dysfunction in other areas of the body. It is therefore essential to assess biomechanics and gait to determine if you may benefit from custom orthotics. Custom orthotics are individually designed based on a thorough dynamic professional assessment. An orthotic helps to properly align the foot and ankle to reduce pain and dysfunction, and enhance the body’s performance and efficiency. There are several types of orthotics made to fit different shoes and lifestyles.
